Restoration
Constructed on Route 66 on the former site of the Banks Hotel. The Gas Station is the original structure, except for the service bay which was added when it became an auto shop. The restoration project took place and keep it's original design.
Now on this page there are two slide shows. The first one is pictures of the the gas station as of now. There are and few more things that are need to be done but a majority it is done, and Second is the Reconstruction of the old gas station.

Gas Station
With the help of the local genealogy
library a police report of a break in at the little service station in the late forties led us to Mr little and his family who donated the picture above. This photo helped us in the restoration.
Kan-O-Tex Gas was
served at one time at the station. The logo represents three states were the gas was sold. Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas
